I Repeat

Last November 11 (see below), I commented on a statistic that I had read in the New Yorker: that 45 million folks who voted in the congressional races in 2008 stayed home in 2010 and didn't bother.  And I said to those home bodies, "Don't start blaming Obama for the bad stuff."  Or words to that effect.  Now that we've been through this unbelievable debt ceiling agony, held hostage by ignorant idiots (many of whom don't even realize that  they are playing into the hands of  the very rich), and we've seen our President do the best he could with it, I need to repeat: don't blame Obama for a mess that you made.

This crap has to stop.  Obama's victory in 2008 proves that there are enough people out there to fight back, to kick the Tea Partiers and Fox News zombies out of government, to make government work again.  So let's get busy and make sure that we turn the tables in 2012.  AND THEN let's make sure that we keep the pressure on in 2014 and give President Obama the congressional support that he needs.
